THE RUSSIAN WINTER FESTIVAL
The Russian Winter Festival will bring Russian music, dance, song - and even snow- to the heart of London when it opens in Trafalgar Square on Saturday.
The event is in its third year and takes place on the eve of the Russian 'Old New Year', which is still celebrated by many in Russia in mid-January.
Starting at 11am and finishing at 6.30 pm, the festival will feature traditional music (11am to 3pm) and contemporary Russian pop (3pm to 6.30pm).
The event is organised by Eventica, with the support of the Russian Economic Forum and the Mayor of London.
